The Beginning

Our journey began in May of 2022, thanks to the matchmaking efforts of our mutual friends. Our first date was on a sweltering Memorial Day in Nashville, where we cooled off with ice cream from Jeni's. After enjoying our treats, we strolled around the park and 12 South area, enjoying each other's company. This first date set the stage for an unforgettable summer filled with adventures and explorations of our favorite Nashville spots.

A Year of Firsts

As the summer of 2022 unfolded, we grew closer, sharing many memorable moments in Nashville. Our connection deepened, and we realized there was no looking back after that first date. The fall brought new experiences as we met each other's friends and families and ventured to new places together. One of the highlights was when I introduced Gus to the Grove in Mississippi, while Gus, in turn, taught me about the bittersweet experience of being a devoted Browns fan.

Memorable Maine

When summer rolled around again, I had the chance to visit Maine with Gus and his family. We enjoyed all the local delights until an unexpected stomach bug made the trip one to remember!

Long Distance Love

With the end of that summer, we faced a new challenge: long-distance dating. I stayed in Nashville for one final year, while Gus embarked on an exciting new program at school. Though the distance was less than ideal, our love persevered through countless FaceTime dates and many Southwest points. In the end, this period only made our relationship stronger.

The Proposal

On a sunny day in May, Gus asked me the most important question of our lives. I said yes, and the rest is history! Now, we are thrilled to embark on this next chapter together and can't wait to celebrate our love with all of you!
